On the whole, the pictures on this site are of pretty, pretty boys with cheekbones and nice eyes. They're all eminently drool-worthy and could get anyone's hormones in a tizzy. But damn, I didn't take one of them. They're all culled from the net and they're of variable quality.
But once upon a time, I was a volunteer tour guide at that Victorian Valhalla, Highgate Cemetery. I haven't done that for several years, but Highgate remains one of my all-time favourite places in the world and is without doubt London's loveliest (semi-) open space. When I am dead (and should you be looking!) you'll find my ashes in the Columbarium in the Circle of Lebanon.
The photographs of Highgate are my own. And if you've never been to Highgate, go.
